(1) Power-on reset
When the power is turned on, the mouse will automatically initialize. The mouse sets the TL bit to 0B during initialization and informs SH-2 that initialization is in progress.
Do not make a data request until initialization is complete.
Table 3.27 shows the data format at the time of Saturn mouse power-on reset in SH-2 direct mode.

(2) Reset
This is a sequence to reset the Saturn mouse from SH-2.
∙ You can request the mouse to reset by setting TR to 0B when TH is 1B.
∙ Saturn mouse responds to the request by setting TL to 0B at this time, and starts initialization when TR is set to 1B by SH-2.
Do not make a data request until initialization is complete.
