BOOT ROM function

■ SEGASATURN logo display

Check and initialize hardware before displaying the logo. Check GAME-CD while displaying the logo. If GAME-CD is installed, start the game. If GAME-CD is not installed, run Multiplayer To do.
⿟ After resetting SMPC, go to "Date and time settings" screen and display the logo. You can always skip the logo animation and go to Multiplayer by holding down the A button and resetting. You can skip the logo animation and go to the "Save Data Management" screen at any time by resetting while holding down the L or R button. Logo animation can be skipped by pressing the Start, A, B, C, X, Y, Z, L, R buttons.

● Notes on the “Saved Data Management” screen 

 
 (1) The backup RAM of the main unit is automatically initialized when it is used for the first time.
 "Erase all (initialize)"  will delete all data or load data
Please go when you do. 

(2) If the following message appears, it is possible that the backup RAM of the main unit is broken.
. Please contact our Technical Support Center for details.
Initialization execution: “Initialization failed”
When deleting: “The record could not be deleted from the main unit” 

(3) Do not turn off the power during initialization, deletion or copying. The data is saved when the power is turned off.
It may not be possible to do this. If the data cannot be loaded, initialize it.

(4) How to read the erase screen (method described in the instruction manual)

 Name  Name of data on the backup RAM. Game abbreviations are automatically written
