[Procedure 6]

Start the virtual CD emulator (VCDEMU.EXE).
By entering the command as shown in the example, the virtual CD emulator is started and "Direct DOS access" is performed.

[Example 6] C: \> VCDEMU △ TSTGAME [ENTER]

The initial screen of the virtual CD emulator is displayed.
Virtual CD emulator is running.

Start operation from the target box.
Commands received from the target box, data transfer status, error messages, etc. are displayed on the virtual CD emulator screen. Refer to Chapter 4 for the display contents.

2.2 When creating a disk image

This chapter describes the operation procedure of “Real-time emulation”.
If "Direct DOS file access" has already been performed, the operation starts from step 4.
If not, perform steps 1 to 3 in the previous section.

Start the pre-processing program (VCDBUILD.EXE).
By entering the command as shown in the example, the preprocessing program (VCDBUILD.EXE) is started and the files required for emulation are created.
