3. Supplementary explanation of the partial update tool VCDUTL.EXE

3.1 Overview

This software modifies (updates) a portion of a CD image once created in DOS file units.
To correct a part of the CD image once created, it is sufficient to rebuild the CD image again with the disk builder software. However, this takes time and effort, and is not efficient. The purpose of this software is to modify a CD image in a short time without returning to the disk builder process.

3.2 Correction of the main manual

Some descriptions in “2.3 Updating a part of a disk image” were not appropriate. Correct italic bold below.

 [Example 5] C: ¥> VCDUTL △ TSTGAME △ ISOFILE.DDD △ DOSFILE .D01 △
  DOSFILE .D02 △ -f △ TSTGAME .PAT [ENTER]

[Result 5] Update information file: TSTGAME .PAT is generated.

 Usage example:
VCDUTL△TSTGAME△ISO1FILE.DDD△DOSFILE.D01△DOSFILE.D02△[-f△TSTGAME.PAT][ENTER]

VCDUTL executable file name TSTGAME Name of the project that created the CD image to be changed ISO1FILE.DDD (ISO file name including the DOS file to be changed) DOSFILE.D01 DOS file name to be changed DOSFILE.D02 DOS file name to replace
