Sega Saturn Software Creation Standards Ver3.00/Licensed Brand Version
5. demonstration
- *The term ``story demo'' refers to a demo that uses Cinepack, etc., mainly to explain the story, and the term ``play demo'' refers to a demo that automatically shows actual gameplay (play during the main game).
- 1) Screen display
- During the play demo, display [PRESS START BUTTON], [DEMO PLAY], etc. on the screen as much as possible to distinguish it from the main game play state.
Further, the current high score and the score of the previous play can be confirmed during the play demo.
- 2) Play demo time
- It is recommended that the play demo be around 30 seconds in length.
- 3) Sound during play demo
- Add sound during the play demo.
- 4) Proceed to the next screen
- If the "start button" is pressed during the play demo or story demo, the game will immediately proceed to the title screen.
If no button is pressed, the demonstration ends after a certain period of time and returns to displaying the Sega logo (if there is a demonstration at the end of the title loop).
