“Ethical and trademark/copyright precautions”


1. Ethics and presentation notes

We must take into account that this is a consumer game that can be distributed casually in ordinary households, and be careful not to incorporate anything that is ethically objectionable or educationally problematic into the game. For standards, please refer to the regulations set forth in the ``Ethical Regulations for Video Game Software'' published by the Ethics Review Organization Secretariat.
Also, please refer to the glossary of important terms published by the same secretariat and pay sufficient attention to discriminatory terms and inappropriate expressions.

2. Points to note when overseas

Please be aware that some expressions may be inappropriate in other countries, even if they are okay in Japan.
Be especially careful about religious expressions.

3. Trademark/Copyright Notice

Please pay attention to the following points in order to avoid infringing on the intellectual property rights of third parties regarding graphics, sound, software, and overall planning used in the game.

  1. Infringement of copyrights, portrait rights, property rights, patents, trademarks, designs, and other rights of third parties
    →Unauthorized use of manufacturer/product/character names, videos, photographs, portraits, designs, marks, songs, etc.

  2. Acts of unfair competition that cause damage to third parties
    →Use of similar products, similar characters, similar designs, etc.

  3. Defamation of reputation and invasion of privacy of third parties

4. Specific examples regarding trademarks

The following expressions are registered as trademarks (including those under review), so please do not use them in titles or other similar trademarks.

"R.P.G." is a trademark owned by Bandai Co., Ltd., but we are able to use it because we have received permission from Bandai Co., Ltd. to use it. When used, do not use it as a general noun, but use an expression that makes it clear that it is a trademark.

  1. When using "R・P・G" in printed materials, etc., the R・P・G part should be enclosed in "", "", etc.

  2. Insert the following note in the bottom margin: [ “R・P・G” is a registered trademark of Bandai Co., Ltd. ].
