"About staff roll"

1. Notification obligation

A list of all staff names to be used for staff roles must be submitted to the department head and permission must be obtained before the beta version (defined within Sega) of each software is completed.
Although there is no prescribed format for submission, please clearly state whether to use your real name or pseudonym, and how to handle outsourcing companies.
A list of all staff and proof of department head approval will be kept in each department along with the checklist.

2. Unification of expression

  1. Unification of real name/pen name

  2. As much as possible, staff names should be either real names or pen names, and avoid mixing them.

  3. Unification of character notation

  4. There are no restrictions on how characters can be written in kanji, hiragana, katakana, English, etc., but we will try to standardize on one as much as possible.

  5. Unification of titles

  6. Use titles for staff that are consistent with the actual work, and do not use titles that are too far removed from the actual situation or that are too outlandish based on common sense.

3. Precautions

  1. Obtaining the person's permission

  2. In principle, when posting a name on a staff roll, permission must be obtained from the staff member, regardless of whether it is a real name or a pen name.

  3. Notes on using pen names

  4. Do not use pen names that violate public order and morals. Also, be careful not to give it an immoral meaning, especially overseas.
Use in accordance with the provisions of other software creation standards.

  5. Handling of staff from other departments

  6. As a general rule, if you wish to include staff from other departments, please check with the respective department heads and obtain approval.

  7. Handling of part-time and contract employees

  8. In principle, part-time and contract employees shall not be placed on the staff roll.

  9. Outsourcing available

  10. Outsourced staff names will follow the regulations of the outsourcing company. Try to keep titles, real names/pen names, etc. as consistent as possible within the company.
Regarding the scope of information such as whether or not to include the company name, unless there is a provision to that effect in the contract, seek instructions from your superior.

4. Prohibited matters

It is prohibited to post the following items on the staff roll.

  1. Posting copyright-related words as a person's title
COPYRIGHT(C), REGISTRATED(R), ORIGINATE, LISENSE, PRESENTED BY, TM, production/authorship, etc.
