Development environment 5.Network environment
By connecting the aforementioned programmers, designers, and sound development systems through a network, development becomes more efficient. Network environments differ depending on the number of workers (number of machines). The specific network configuration (server, client) is explained below, divided into cases depending on the number of developers.
Network environment for NFS server and client (for 3 to 6 people)
- The figure below shows the case where Indy is used as both server and client.

Network with dedicated server machine (recommended for 7 or more people)
- Increase server performance by turning SparcStation5 into a dedicated server and using an Ether/SCSI board.

Network environment with PC-AT and Mac only
- Build an efficient network environment by using NetWare servers.
- Reference: NetWare is compatible with Mac and PC-AT (Windows, etc.).
