SOUND TUTORIAL

The Sega Saturn Sound Tutorial was created to provide sound designers with the knowledge they need to develop sound for the Sega Saturn.
This book was written so that even people who have used a Macintosh but are not very familiar with DTM (desk top music) can play songs on a Saturn.
The contents of this manual are limited to the use of "SEGA Sound Tool" to create sound data files for use on the Saturn.
To actually play songs in a game using a sound data file, use the Sega Graphic Library (SGL) sound functions within the program, or use direct sound control commands.
For details on sound control commands , refer to " SEGASATURN SOUND DRIVER Ver2.20 Programmer's Guide ".
